Max is now a yearling. Max attended his first show at Arundel Riding Club on August Bank Holiday. He was the only yearling in his class and was very well behaved especially standing in line, as we waited for an hour in the ring, after the class was divided into 2. Our section for large breeds was the last to go. I was pleased with how Max performed and he was rewarded with 3rd prize in this mixed Mountain and Moorland class.
Max is going to his first show tomorrow, so today is having his first wash. Here are some photos showing he took it all in his stride.
Max has finished his first bath for a show and couldn't have behaved better.
Now to turn him out in his field and hope he stays clean.

Taking lots of videos showing Max coming in from the field, being tied up, having his feet done and getting his 3rd Flu/tet vaccination from the vet etc. Max loves people and is a friendly willing yearling. He will make somebody a lovely riding pony.
